The President controls the country's defense, and is in charge of foreign policy. He appoints the Prime Minister with the Parliaments approval. The Prime Minister is the official head of government. The current Prime Minister is Francois Fillon. The Parliament consists of the Senate and the National Assembly. They are in charge of creating and voting on laws.

There are only 300 living in the North Atlantic ocean. They can be 35-55 feet long. It's hard to protect them because it takes a long time for them to reproduce.

It first entered Europe at the end of the Ice Age. They have bad eyesight, but a superior sense of smell. They are 28-43 cm. in length. The French are preserving their habitat.
